The Samsung A6 brings to us a union of the A-series and J-series as it fits the A8’s camera and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor into a J5 like aluminium body. It also comes with a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED screen, just like on the A8 (2018) but while the latter boasts of 1080p resolution, the A6 comes with a lower 720p. The A6 is powered by Samsung’s own chipset - Exynos 7870 which was first introduced in the J7 (2017) and highly rated for its power efficiency. Samsung A6 is available in 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB with a dedicated microSD slot.

Coming in as a big brother to the Samsung Galaxy A6, the A6 Plus features a 6" Super AMOLED screen with a 1080 x 2220 pixels resolution and runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) operating system. The device is powered by an Octa-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 processor paired with a Qualcomm SDM450 Snapdragon 450 chipset. It is powered by a 3500 mAh non-removable battery and unlike the A6, it comes with a dual 16MP and 5MP cameras at the back, as well as a 24MP front-facing camera for lovely selfies.

HMD Global Set to Unveil Nokia X

Mobile phone manufacturers, HMD Global, the company responsible for the new generation Nokia phones is set to officially unveil its first device in the upcoming X-Series smartphones. The first in the series to be known as Nokia X has also been rumoured to be called the  Nokia X6 possibly to avoid confusing customers with the Nokia X Dual Sim phone which was released in 2014 by Nokia Corporation. After confirming the launch date of the company's first smartphone with a display notch late last month, HMD Global is now said to have revealed that the event will be held in Beijing, China on May 16 at 2pm (local time).
